Know exactly what a report contains
- Total records plus counts and percentages for deliverable, risky, undeliverable, unknown, and excluded.
- Reason-code breakdown and practical recommendations.
- Checked date and Quick/Power verification mode.
- Up to ten top domains, but only when each displayed domain represents at least five records.
- Mandatory PeopleDat attribution and advisory-language reminder.
- No addresses, preserved source columns, row downloads, or direct result API.
The report is an immutable snapshot of one completed job. Later list changes or reruns do not silently rewrite what a recipient already reviewed.
Create and share a report
Open a completed job
In Jobs, expand a completed verification whose aggregates you are authorized to share.Open Report links
Owners or admins with report permission can view active link metadata.Create the link
PeopleDat snapshots the aggregates and reveals a private URL once. The dashboard currently creates a seven-day link by default.Copy it immediately
After you hide it or refresh, PeopleDat can show the report ID and expiry but cannot recover the secret URL.Send through an appropriate channel
Share only with intended recipients and include the expiry/revocation expectations.
Treat the URL as a bearer credential
The link contains a random 32-byte token in the URL fragment. Fragments are not sent in normal HTTP requests or referrer headers. The report page removes the fragment from browser history and resolves the token through a no-store POST. PeopleDat stores only a SHA-256 hash of the token.
Report pages use noindex, no-store, and no-referrer protections and intentionally contain no report analytics.
Use short expiry and understand limits
- Default expiry is seven days; the underlying policy allows 1–30 days.
- A completed job may have one active report at a time.
- A workspace may have up to 25 active report links.
- Creation is limited to ten report links per workspace per hour.
- A report becomes unavailable when it expires, is revoked, or its workspace is archived.
- Creating reports requires an active subscription or settled PayGo entitlement.
Revoke access as soon as it is no longer needed
Return to the completed job, open Report links, find the active report ID, and choose Revoke. Revocation is immediate and audited. A recipient opening the old URL will see only that the report is unavailable.
If the one-time URL was shared incorrectly, revoke it first. Then create a replacement link—if still appropriate—and send it through the correct channel.
